I. JOB OBJECTIVE
The Senior Structural Design Engineer is responsible for delivering safe, optimized, and cost-effective structural design solutions. This role requires the ability to independently manage complex projects, perform technical reviews of junior engineers' work, and ensure seamless cross-disciplinary coordination (Architecture, MEP) to meet project quality and delivery deadlines.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Advanced Design & Analysis:
-
Lead the development of Concept, Basic, and Detailed designs for various projects (high-rises, mixed-use complexes, industrial facilities, etc.).

Perform complex structural calculations (reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations) ensuring full compliance with current standards (TCVN, Eurocode, BS, ACI, etc.).

Develop structural models and conduct internal force and structural dynamics analysis using specialized software.

Quality Management & Oversight:

Direct and coordinate with Drafters/BIM Modelers to ensure the precision and technical accuracy of design drawings.

Conduct cross-checks, review, and approve technical designs, construction drawings, and calculation reports from Junior/Mid-level engineers prior to issuance.

Cross-Disciplinary Coordination & Site Support:

Collaborate closely with Architectural, MEP, and Cost Estimation teams for clash detection and overall design optimization.

Represent the company in technical meetings with Clients, Supervision Consultants, and Contractors.

Address site-related technical queries (RFIs) and provide rapid, safe, and cost-efficient remedial measures.

Mentorship & Leadership:

Act as a professional mentor, providing guidance and sharing expertise with junior engineers.

Integrate new technologies, software, and international design standards into the company's workflow.

III. REQUIREMENTS
-
Education: Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Civil Engineering (Building & Industrial) or related fields.

Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in structural design. Proven track record of serving as a Lead Engineer or primary designer for Grade I projects, high-rises, or large-span steel structures.

Certification: Possession of a Grade I Structural Design Practice Certificate is mandatory.

Technical Software: Proficiency in structural analysis software: ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Plaxis, etc.

Drafting/BIM: Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit Structure, and Tekla (BIM competency is a strong advantage).

Standards: Mastery of local (TCVN, QCVN) and international (BS, Eurocode, ACI) building codes.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.

Excellent time management and ability to perform under tight deadlines.

Effective teamwork, communication, and technical presentation skills.

Languages: Professional proficiency in Technical English (for documentation and drawing review).
