I.     JOB OBJECTIVE

Lead the delivery of safe, optimized, and cost-effective structural design solutions. This role requires independent management of complex projects, technical oversight of junior engineers, and close coordination with Architecture and MEP disciplines to ensure project quality and delivery timelines.

II.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advanced Design & Analysis:

    • Lead Concept, Basic, and Detailed designs for various projects (high-rises, mixed-use complexes, industrial plants, etc.).

    • Perform complex structural calculations (reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations) in compliance with current standards (TCVN, Eurocode, BS, ACI, etc.).

    • Conduct structural modeling and internal force/dynamics analysis using specialized software.

  • Quality Management:

    • Direct and coordinate with Drafters/BIM Modelers to ensure technical precision.

    • Conduct cross-checks, review, and approve technical designs, shop drawings, and calculation reports before issuance.

  • Coordination & Site Support:

    • Collaborate with Architecture, MEP, and Cost Estimation teams for clash detection and overall design optimization.

    • Participate in technical meetings with Clients, Construction Supervision Consultants, and Contractors.

    • Resolve site-related technical issues (RFI) with prompt, safe, and cost-effective solutions.

  • Mentorship:

    • Mentor junior engineers and share professional expertise.

    • Implement new technologies, software, and international design standards into the team's workflow.

III.     REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Associate degree in Civil & Industrial Engineering or related fields.

  • Experience: 5–7+ years in structural design; proven track record of leading Grade I projects, high-rises, or large-span steel structures.

  • Certification: Mandatory Grade I Structural Design Practice Certificate.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Plaxis.

  • Drafting/BIM: AutoCAD, Revit Structure, Tekla (BIM experience is a significant advantage).

  • Standards: Mastery of local (TCVN, QCVN) and international (BS, Eurocode, ACI) codes.

  • Soft Skills: Strong decision-making, time management, and ability to work under high pressure. Fluency in technical communication and presentation.
